The main recreational recourse for yachting  - is water recourse of the Earth. Water covers 71% of whole surface of the planet and it is a weighty argument in for yachting development as water activity.

And of course land – coastline with its sightseeing and cities close by ports are key moments in route making. Islands - that can be visited on yacht only – create a certain attractive charisma.

Why do we choose Croatia?

In our humble opinion Croatia is a yachting Mecca. It’s here you can see thousands of islands, small villages and ancient towns-fortresses, complicated water area with shoals, marks and winds that are so suitable for yacht training. From the other side if you sail around an island you may occur in a quiet haven and rest wild with your family and swim in crystal clear sea!

But Croatia is well known not only with its nature and sightseeing. Wonderful marinas with extensive infrastructure, restaurants, shops, fuel and water stations, good berthing service (in bad weather marina’s staff often sail on yacht or cater to assist you with berthing) any repair works that is quick and qualified, and large number of charter companies that renew their fleet annually and offer to rent a yacht in Croatia at reasonable prices.

It is especially important now, when many people wonder: where to go instead of Turkey? Croatia is an excellent analogue as it has similar seasons and prices for yacht charter, but yacht assortment is much better! It’s water area is more interesting – there are more places and routes where one can sail. Croatia is European country with European service. Meanwhile prices for berths here, for example, are much lower than in Italy or France.

The country is perfect for yacht training both for beginners and for upgrading qualification because of its complicated water area, it’s interesting for experienced sailors that may join international regattas, it’s also nice for family vacation or group of friends’ holiday.

Let’s take a closer look at Croatia.

Croatia is situated at Balkan peninsula, it is washed by Adriatic Sea and has extended coastline – 1777 km approximately. Its water area included 1185 islands, 67 of which are inhabited.

There are international airports in Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik and Zadar.
The main large marinas where base charter companies are located in Middle Dalmatia: Split, Trogir, Sibenik, Biograd-na-Moru. There are also marinas in other parts of the country: Pula, Dubrovnik and on islands.

Long coastline, 1000 islands, great number of comfortable marinas and charter companies – this all makes Croatia attractive for yachting.

And it doesn’t matter if it is training or yacht charter  - everyone may find in this country the variant according to his needs and wishes.

Important event in Croatian history is its joining to EU, that lead to requirement of visa from 1st of March 2013. That is why if you are going to visit Croatia you need to make a visa.
